Polyarylate, also known as aromatic polyester, referred to as PAR, trade name is U polymer, is a high temperature resistant
plastic with excellent comprehensive performance.
PAR ( polyarylate ) films are widely used in the fields of sound film, diaphragm, optical film, water treatment film and so on.

Material characteristics:
(1) Excellent transparency, when the thickness is 2mm, the light transmittance is more than 87%, and there is good ultraviolet shielding.
(2) Excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy and softness, and PAR film has high linkage toughness and conduction resistance, and resistance to cracking and splitting
(3) Polyaryl ester PAR is an important polymer material, which has good heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical strength, and is widely used in the field of water treatment.
PAR can prepare various complex structure of films, fibers, hollow fibers, etc., and is an important material in water treatment membrane technology.
Process characteristics
(1) The glass transition temperature of polyaryl ester is 193 °C, the molding temperature is above 350 °C, the thermal decomposition temperature is about 400 °C,
and the melting temperature is quite different from the thermal decomposition temperature.
(2) The melt viscosity is high, and the apparent viscosity of the melt is much more affected by temperature than by the shear rate.
(3) The fluidity of the melt at the processing temperature is related to the thickness of the product, and the fluidity decreases rapidly when the wall thickness is less than 2mm.
(4) The raw materials should be dried before molding and processing, so that the water content is controlled below 0.02%.
POTOP Co,. Ltd provide various kinds of PAR film extrusion solution to meet the different needs and support custom-made service.
